We are pleased to have developed a new website for Nuclear Free Local Authorities. It replaces a site we developed for them ten years ago, which was showing its age.
The new site includes a large heading photo, full width and half the screen height, selected randomly from a pool of images.
The front page lists the 12 most recent posts in a three-column layout, with colour coding and tagging to differentiate categories. This makes the most recent content much more accessible than on the old site where posts were separately listed by category and it could be difficult to find the most recent content.
The site layout is responsive, adjusting to any screen width. For instance, pages with a three-column layout switch to two-column then one-column at narrower widths.
The site content management has been greatly improved, now using WordPress, which will significantly reduce running costs.
