We have developed a bespoke website for the Existing Homes Alliance Scotland, which campaigns to improve the energy efficiency of Scotland’s housing.
Though not a complex site, they had problems finding a someone who could deliver what was required, and we were the fourth web developers they had dealt with in a year.
There was a limited budget for the work but we developed a custom WordPress theme to meet their requirements, delivered on time and under budget.
The design has a strong visual element, with each section of the site using a different heading photo which is full-width and half the screen height.
The front page includes a ‘slider’ of captioned photos and also a scrolling panel with the logos of supporting organisations. Both the slider content and logos are managed using ‘custom post types’ making it easy for the client to update.
